Advice on what my rights are?
Hi, I need some advice on what my rights are? We have booked a holiday to the Netherlands to stay at a theme Park in 2 weeks time.
The cost of the holiday includes ALL attractions.
Due to the coronavirus, ALL the attractions are closed at the theme park during our stay.
The company has said we can still stay at the theme park but with everything being closed, this significantly changes our holiday and we would not have booked just for accommodation!
It greatly impacts on the ENTIRE experience!
They have offered to change the date to a time between November and March but only during school time (I have 4 kids so could be hit with a VERY hefty fine if I take them out of school!) and I don’t want to go to the Netherlands in the thick of winter, to be honest!
I don’t think the above is covered on our holiday insurance but as the holiday we booked has changed so dramatically, are we entitled to a refund?
Can I pursue the matter through legal channels?
Any help greatly appreciated! Xx
