Travel Insurance for UK holiday - any providers still covering Coronavirus disruption?

We have a holiday cottage booked for mid-April. We will probably still go if at all possible, even if we just stay in and enjoy the fresh air. However there is a chance that there will be a full compulsory lockdown by then. So are there any insurance providers which are still covering travel disruption due to Coronavirus, specifically for a holiday within the UK?

not at the moment, they would be silly to still do so from their point of view. Good luck

Following with interest.  We are due to be away from this weekend.  Our holiday provider is saying "business as usual with a few extra precautions" and our insurer is saying "no refund".
For reference we have a Zurich Ultimate policy that was in place long before any of this became an issue.

Actually, to add, had we been going abroad we would be covered however they specifically exclude UK travel from the section of the policy that would cover us.

If you don't already have cover then you won't get it now I'm afraid.  I'd be amazed if there's any policies still available that would cover you.

Feared that was the case. Should have got onto it sooner, but things have moved quickly in recent days and don't usually get cover for UK holidays so didn't seem so urgent a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we will still be able to go, even if we have to stay in for the duration, but suspect we may have to write it off.
