Hey folks, hope you are doing well.
I have a question regarding good cashflow practices?Do you know any useful resources aka courses, books,
webinars which will be helpful to improve cashflow practices
from point of view a sole trader?
Thank you so much for any support you can give and I appreciate your time
Kind regards,Peter

I would be amazed if your business is so complex you need a book or a course
get a bit of paper and write down a list of:
- all regular suppliers, when do they bill, what are their terms of payments and do you pay them on time
- make a guess at irregular suppliers and the same data for them
- make a guess at your sales frequency and amounts. make a guess at when your invoices will be paid (if you invoice) or the money hits the bank if you are payment on job working.
schedule the above in date order and deduct expenditure from income and lol and behold you have a cash flow forecast.
replace guesses with actuals as you go along, and then next year you will have a document that is actually reasonably useful in terms of showing you when your peaks and troughs are for cash ins and outs .0 -
thank you so much oldbikebloke
Kind regards,
Peter
