Package holiday to turkey but government save don't travel

We are climbing the walls with frustration. We have package holiday booked with jet 2 to Turkey end of April. Everything paid up including parking. Jet 2 tell me so far it's still running, however the government are now saying only essential travel abroad. Does this mean if we go, and something happened we would have our insurance void because we went against government advise...  Jet 2 are still taking bookings for Turkey.. what the hell is going on ??
Also, the government are now saying that pubs and restaurants are a no go area, due to 20 or 30 people  in the same proximity, yet they see no problems with 250 people crammed into an airplane for 4 and half hours breathing recycled air. Can someone please help calm me down with some answers please ....thankyou

It's still running because it's over a month away before you travel. The companies are concentrating on people due to travel in the next week or two; you're not on their radar yet. 
If the government advise against travel the flights will be cancelled. You need to be patient and see how things go.

Calm down and assess the situation regularly.  Things are changing at a frenetic pace so any advice today could well be invalid tomorrow.  As elsien says, you are way down the priority list so will have to be patient.
