TUI cancellation

We booked with TUI a package holiday to Tenerife for 7 nights in July, didn't take any insurance out at time of booking, paid low deposit of just £100 on £1100 holiday, went into store today to cancel, no problem all we have lost is the £100. We had also been buying € at around 1.17/1.18 sold them back to bank at €1.22 so in all lost about £140. They asked why we were cancelling and the reason is that we will most likely be in the group that will have to self isolate for 12 weeks as we both have underlying health problems.
So if you have booked and now don't want to travel its worth asking about the cost of cancelling, it might not be as bad as you think/have been led to believe.

I fully expect to get a refund of what I've paid if/when TUI cancel.1
