It may be if they ever see the CIFAS entries. So don't apply for anything with them.heyitsme123 said:So basically I just learned last week that Tesco bank have put a application fraud on my cifas file in 2018 and Barclays have put a fraud marker on in 2015 I have been getting declined for credit I think this is why but will my bank or anything be affected it hasn’t yet and it’s been on There since 2018 but just wondering.

What does it show on your cifas report. It might show part of the application details were incorrect.I am superised Santander opened the account for you. No banks accepts cifas entries.0

That helps with detection but proven application fraud has to be registered on CIFAS (category 3/4).Thrugelmir said:0 -
National Hunter checks discrepancies on the application example you paply for Barclaycard and list 17k income but then make an application at Amex and put down 30k income. It tries to match the application. If it fails it gets referred for further checks. That's my understanding.
