Best and final offer, not heard back yet

Hi all,
We've put an offer down which was a "Best and final" - offers closed on Friday gone at 12pm.
When we first viewed and made enquiries on the phone they said we'd hear back on the Friday bids closed (wasn't hopeful for that as it would be quite quick to consider offers)
When we placed the offer and submitted it via email the response said we'd hear back Monday 16th (today, we didn't)
We are keen to get going and have other houses we really like and viewed but don't want to start placing offers and mess people around until we know about this one. Do you think we should get in touch with the EA? Should I put an expiry on the offer or ask when they will have decided?

If you've not heard back then it's almost certainly because the seller has not made a decision yet.
