Currys and washing machine repair

Bought less than 3 years ago, have the care and repair thing I pay for each month.
Problems since last last year with leaking mainly but also noisy and unstable.
Was repaired end of of last year and seemed to be working ok but still noisy and recently started leaking a little again, I’ve been wary of using it to be honest.
Tried to do a wash today and it leaked badly. Had to turn it off at the mains mid cycle.
Called Currys to arrange repair and went through usual procedure. Manufacturers can’t get anyone to me till next wed.
I’m fed up with being nervous every time I use it. Which isn’t very often. I’m not in a heavy use household at all.
Currys are murder to get through to they just kept putting me through to the manufacturers.
Can anyone please advise?

Replace it asap. Buy a good brand. Our Zanussi seems to be reliable - I couldn't afford a Miele!
Don't take out a care and repair thing. Put money aside each month for appliance replacement and repair and use it to pay for an accredited engineer to come out to the machine if it breaks down. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
Yes I’ve heard Zanussi is good are Miele better?
I can’t afford to set money aside as I’m disabled and on benefits the Currys thing only costs me £10 a month and covers all my white goods (supposedly)0 -

A basic one will be a bit north of £600 and will outlast anything else
Ours is 5 years old and is used by 6 adults and has never missed a beat0 -

They put you through to the manufacturer because they have repair men, Currys don't.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
