Hi all,
My youngests school has today cancelled their 3 day France trip in May. Quite understandable. However they have also said whether we get a refund or not is down to the 'processing' of the venue as they have already paid them. We can't claim on the insurance as France at the moment is not on the no go list. Can the school really not refund us? They cancelled, not the venue.

Thanks in advance

The government has advised against all overseas school trips irrespective of location. I would of thought the insurance would pay out or would the insurance company advise ignoring government advice?
  • I have no idea. The insurance was included in the trip, I only know what the school have said. I will ask them why they won't pay out though.
