Refund from Ryanair

Hallo, can anyone tell me if I am entitled to a refund from Ryanair for an inbound flight due on March 22nd. Now that FCO have advised against travel to Spain.
I did not fly out on the booked outbound flight, because of the volume of traffic on Ryanair site and phones I was unable to change flight dates, before my flight to Malaga departed on March 14th.
Would appreciate advice on this please

Well normally it would be a travel insurance job, however you could be on a sticky wicket here as the FCO advice to not go to any part of Spain was only active from the 15th. However it was active for Madrid on the 14th. Were you flying to Madrid?0

No Malaga. But the decision was made on the 14th before the flight departed. Main issue is they didn't inform me till 24 hrs before flight departed that I could change dates of flights. But then it was impossible to get in touch with them via phone email or website before the cut of time prior to flight departing.0
