Due to fly abroad this week, but can't enter the country as its closed to foreigners. It would appear the flight is still going as I guess there are still nationals who want to get home. Flight is with Ryanair and absolutely no chance of speaking to them for options, in fact, when i called, it said "we are very busy", and cut me off.
Obviously no point going for the flight, but is there anything i should be doing so I can claim on travel insurance. Don't want them finding a reason to not pay out for some reason i haven't though of. FCO are advising against travel there. Insurance is with Nationwide flexplus bank account.

Ryanair, Lithuania. They are in lockdown as of last night.
Ryanair have offered to waive change flight date fees but obviously pointless as i don't know when this will end.

If FCO is advising against travel then that is enough to seek reimbursement from your travel insurer.
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.

Yes, its says all but essential travel, but that doesn't stop the insurers trying to wriggle out..

I think it varies from one insurance company /policy to another.
