Sainsburys delivery slots completely unavailable

Like the title says, I shop online with Sainsburys and buy an annual delivery pass allowing me free grocery deliveries. Now, I understand that in the current climate, more people are getting their stuff delivered but my Sainsburys has no slots available up to and including 5th April. Surely those with delivery passes should be given priority or refunded for the time the service is not provided. So far Sainsburys have remained quiet. They were even still selling delivery passes up until yesterday (haven't checked today). Anyone else as !!!!!! as me?

I agree that a partial refund should be given but I would say that the elderly and vulnerable should be given priority for home deliveries rather that just those that can afford to pay upfront for a delivery pass.mothertoben10 said:Surely those with delivery passes should be given priority or refunded for the time the service is not provided.13 -
Does having a pass guarantee you a delivery spot?
If slots are already booked how do they provide a slot to somebody else?
Maybe all those wh have booked the slots are pass holders.2 -
Many elderly and vulnerable have plenty of money

And an even greater number don't, but that has no bearing on this thread either.UKTigerlily said:Many elderly and vulnerable have plenty of money
Sainsburys have prioritised those registered for home delivery and are on the extremely vulnerable list above all others, even pass holders4 -
The government sent our major supermarket chains a list of the 1.5 million most vulnerable people who are on the “shielded list”. They requested that the supermarkets contact these people to offer them priority slots for home deliveries.
Sainsburys mailed me, and invited me to register as a customer, which I did. And they have offered some slots, in the last couple of weeks. They’ve been pretty good...unlike Tesco, who I normally shop with.
I assume it’s just to make sure those that cannot go out can get access to some sort of delivery,You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

What has how much money someone has got to do with the present situation where some people through no fault of their own are confine to their homes and reliant for food on deliveries from Supermarkets and shops?UKTigerlily said:Many elderly and vulnerable have plenty of money
