Has anyone got experience with these? I'm going in circles, I've got my other bits and pieces ready except for the shower enclosure. Looking for a 1200x800mm rectangular enclosure, possibly frame-less to improve the look but ideally looking for longevity and quality. Also one with a hinge. I have found someone local selling a 1200x800mm low profile shower tray.
For the enclosure I've found this:
Made by Jacuzzi for £525. It seems awfully dear but doesn't look half bad. Other options are like this:
but it seems to be victoria plum own brand. I liked miras but they stretch to £900+. Starting to regret not just getting a bath tub.
Any suggestions folks?

My only observation is make sure you can reach the taps from outside the enclosure otherwise you can't turn them on to warm up without getting a cold shower first (I know from bad experience in a hotel).

The Jacuzzi one is 6mm glass, the own brand 8mm and includes the shower tray. Based on my experience, not Jacuzzi although mine was a sliding door enclosure, the problem being the door rollers weren't metal and disintegrated after a few years with spares not being available. However you're going for a hinged door which I'd do if I had my choice again. So look at quality of fittings particularly the hinges.

I went nuts on sunday looking everywhere. I went into to local bath stores, they would be pretty basic looking running to nearly £600+ without the tray. Online tried finding clearance ones but none I could find. Tried facebook gumtree but most don't have receipts so in the event of a warranty claim there would be no recourse I imagine.
But they offered the jacuzzi one for £499 and just went for it as couldn't be bothered with constant searching (I was specifically after a 1200x800 rectangular w/ hinged door (we shared the same concerns regarding the sliding). Kind of feel ripped off, but I suppose I will judge that when it arrives. The 6mm glass does seem concerning, but it does carry 10 yrs guarantee vs most of the other 5 year ones.
I think I should have gone for a bath tub though in the end. Bit late to go about returning it once it arrives now.

Well the money saving gods spoke and it was damaged in transit. Quite gutted though as it was discontinued.0
