Easyjet Holidays to Benidorm End of May No Insurance Advice

Hi,
We have a package holiday booked with Easyjet for end of May and we don't have any insurance in place as basically none now cover the covid19.

We've only payed the deposit with the balance due end of this month and we don't know what to do.

Any advice please? will Easyjet refund us perhaps??

I am sure you now realise the importance of buying travel insurance at the time of booking your holiday, so I won’t bang that message home anymore.

The situation has been fast changing and developing. The Spanish restrictions and updated FCO travel advisory only given at the weekend. None of us know the situation next week, let alone for May.  My advise would be to hold back at the moment, watch for developments and news on the FCO website (you can even sign up for alerts) and the EasyJet/EasyJet Holidays website.  If things continue as now I suspect a refund offer or travel waiver will be offered. At the moment however the situation is not fully known and your end of May holiday will not be considered a priority to review by airlines at this time.

Stay calm and carry on, but avoid mass gatherings....
