Struggling to cancel an EasyJet flight booking - help!

My husband and I were due to fly to Geneva on EasyJet early tomorrow morning for a short break in the French alps meeting up with friends celebrating 50th birthdays. However, given that the situation in France has escalated in the last couple of days with a wholesale shutdown of schools, colleges, restaurants, bars, cinemas etc we’ve decided it is not appropriate to go as we don’t want to have problems coming back if the situation escalates further. I have just spent 1hr 20mins trying to get through to Easyjet to cancel our flights (we hadn’t checked in) but without success - I’ve looked online to see if there is a cancel booking facility but can’t see one - only a change flight facility which is no good to us. Can anyone advise if there is a straightforward way to cancel an easyJet flight booking - or is it the case that we just don’t check in?! We realise we will lose the money we paid, which is annoying but that’s not the issue.
