Currently in Spain due to return to Bristol from Murcia next Saturday.
Easyjet say they are going to offer rescue flights and will post details tomorrow. Just wondered if anyone in similar situation has been able to contact Easy Jet to get any firmer information.

  • I think you are just going to hang on
. Can you imagine the problems all of the airlines are having?
Things are going to change day by day.
Be prepared to leave at fairly short notice.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

I actually suspect that information on the airline website will be the most up to date available.  EasyJet are normally very good at disseminating information to passengers. Make sure your contact details are correct in your booking. Expect contact via automated emails. Keep a regular check on their website and avoid calling the over worked and under pressure airline call centres.
  • Five Jet2 flights to Spain, mostly Alicante, were ordered to do an about turn over French airspace the other day and  head back to the UK.
That means a load of Brits who missed out on their return flight were stranded there.
Presumably the Spanish authorities are allowing empty aircraft in to the country to haul these punters home.

Easyjet have listed some flights. However the site constantly returns an error when trying to book. Call centre on hold for 80 min and gave up. Trying to find number of Easyjet head office but no joy. Anyone got any suggestions please.....

I fear, frustrating as I am sure it is, you will just need to show patience.
The website or any emails send you with chick-thru links for amendments will be the best methods to change your travel plans.  Failing that you will have to take a ticket and wait your turn to speak to a call handler in their reservations department.  Forget trying to ring random numbers in their head office.
