Stirling park

ive had 2 accounts with Stirling park paying by standing order for over 2 years it’s back council tax so a joint account and a sole account for an address I was on my own they started texting me 3 days in a row to call them on doing so they asked if was calling to settle my balance no they were told I’ve had a payment plan for over 2 years by standing order for 2 separate accounts oh yes they said on the final day however a friend advised that I call them and ask for a statement of account which they were reluctant to give me claiming they needed a valid reason to which I kept saying I’m entitled to it that should be reason enough after about 5 minutes of them saying that wasn’t reason enough they then agreed to send it to me on receiving it for first year and half payments seemed ok then on the joint account there was 8 months of payments missing when I called them they then argued I hadn’t paid so usaid I’ll sebd my bank statements to prove it the bank assured me that both standing orders were going into their bank so I also noticed that they had taken a payment from my sole account and put it in my joint account surely illegal it was 2 separate accounts I called again getting put on hold passed about to be told that the missing payments were because I had the wrong reference number however the wrong reference number I did indeed have but that account was actually shown to have been paid on my statement of account it was the correct reference number that had the 8 missing payments on mmm on explaining this they wouldn’t listen and was adamant that’s what happened I also told them that they can’t take money from my sole account and put it in the joint one as it was 2 separate accounts on the 8- 10 th day of calling them they had put the 8 missing payments back on to my joint account and wouldn’t tell me where my money had been sitting before it went into my account I suggested maybe sitting in their account gaining interest perhaps to which they said it doesn’t matter where it was it was now on my account pfft really so on Wednesday I decided to pay off my sole account that way they would maybe manage to rightly manage my payments cause there would only be 1 account so I paid 196.60 that I didn’t really have and that was my sole account paid off however I called them next day to say I’d like a receipt as I paid it online to say that the balance was now zero it had been paid off to be told there was still £30 left on it ohhh not again they having a laugh the 30£ paid on 3/3 they had decided to not put in my sole account even though it’s the same standing order numbers etc for 2 1/2 years they decided to put both standing orders into my joint account the woman said she would sort it and I should have an email receipt the next day no receipt recieved so I called again and I asked how much was left on that account to be told £10.10 omg reaaaally so now Paul who told me last week he was the manager but the guy I spoke to yesterday told me he was a supervisor said I’ll put you on hold aggggaain only to come back and say Paul will be dealing with this you won’t be getting a receipt saying you’ve cleared the debt until he’s finished is their a time frame nooo there isn’t when Paul is finished looking into it I am now upset eating granola for the next week it is bad management they are rude and clearly are not able to run a debt collection agency I asked Paul if there was an addresss if anyone I could complain to he grudgingly gave me the Stirling park complaints addresss to which I said and who’s going to get that you Paul isn’t their a financial ombudsman or anything he said no that’s it and yes I may get a look into your complaint I need advice I’m so upset and nowhere or no one to help

    Sorry. A couple of things, this is the Local Money Saving board.

    You will get better advice if you break up the wall of text into readable paragraphs with punctuation, and only put in relevant information. Not any waffle.
