Hello,
Can anyone let me have any details of decent , but cheap hotels in Prague. There was a thread on here before (months and months ago) and now I cannot find this but someone knew of a good hotel which was privately owned, similar to a B and B style but was very central and really cheap
It would be great if you can help as would really love to take my mum away
thank you

I can recommend the Extol Inn situated in Prague 7 (just North of the river and only a short Tram ride into the centre). Their website is

If you're the adventurous type, I'd suggest catching a bus from the airport into town rather than a taxi. It's costs about 50p each rather than over £15. You can get a free route map from one of the counters in the arrivals hall. The 100 departs outside from underneath the fly-over. Just make sure you purchase your ticket before you board.0 -
After a very bad experience with a cheap deal we ended up moving to the five star Hotel Praha, a former communist officials' getaway which is a bit out of town but quite an experience. It was very cheap via the net for a bit of luxury, with the added extra of a taste of commie history. After that we rented a lovely apartment right in the city centre (Hussova Street). It was reasonably priced and a great way to see the place. Let me know if you want me to look up any more details.0
