Are Ryanair at it again?

I’m due to fly this week to Berlin. Good news, flights can be rearranged. I’ve checked the Ryanair price online Berlin to Manchester for alternative dates and €25.99, go to change it in ‘manage my bookings’ and the price is €37.99.
I cannot get through on the phone and no response to twitter (although it’s only been a short time)
Are Ryanair up to their usual tricks and trying to convince us they’re being nice?

Still the same situation tonight, Ryanair charging much more for flight changes than it would cost to book the exact same flight as a new booking. Shameful, don’t announce that you’re waiving ‘flight change fees’ if you’re going to rip the customer off by over charging them for the changed flight!!0

This happened to me when I changed flights for March to June. I was charged approximately 50% more for the new flights than the price which was showing on their live purchase page. For this reason I will not be accepting any vouchers or tokens when my flights in June are again cancelled. I fly with Ryanair all of the time, and generally I have no complaints. But this is just a rip off I am not willing to accept. So I will insist in a cash refund this time around and book my next flights in the usual manner.0
