flight cancellation while you are abroad

How does it work if you go away and while you are away flights to and from this county get cancelled? Do their government can hold you in that country? will they pay for your hotel and food or how does it work? I have to go abroad next week

No idea.  We don't know where you're going, who you're travelling with, what your insurance arrangements are...

I dont have insurance , just have a flight with Ryanair to Poland booked. Does it matter tho? If someone tells you you cant leave the country I would think they have some plan for you :D

In parts of Italy they are isolating people in tents in the grounds of hospitals and schools. Would that sort of accommodation for a fortnight work for you?

You say 'this country' - do you mean UK or the country you are visiting? Why would flight cancellations cause you to be 'held' by the govt?

If strict measures to contain virus spread are imposed in Poland you will not be prevented from leaving the country, but you will need to make your own arrangements (if original flight not available) and comply with any travel restrictions, health checks and required documentary declarations.
    Evolution, not revolution

Poland has banned entry so you won't be travelling at all. The UK FCO has advised against all but essential travel, if you had insurance you would be able to claim your losses but you have said you haven't........
