dro moratorium period

So my DRO has been given the go ahead, I’ve had my copy of my DRO just reading all the bits and it says that the insolvency service can still revoke it after the moratorium period has passed? Just wondering if this has ever happened? Just hoping in 5 years time my baby (2) will have started school etc and I was hoping to be able to increase my hours at some point once childcare isn’t such an issue...by having a DRO does it now mean I have to stay on a low income after the dro moratorium period? Wondering what happens now it’s been granted? Is that it? I don’t see any changes in the next 4/5yrs tbh....just curious what to do/happens next? Thanks in advance....

As far as I know once the 12 month moratorium period has passed that’s it. The only exception I know of is if it comes to light that you misrepresented things on the application and you should never have been granted a DRO - I think even then it would have to be quite major, like forgetting you own property or you had thousands stashed away, not that a debt amount was out by a few hundred(that sort of thing is what moratorium period is for)
I’m almost certain that a DRO doesn’t mean you can’t improve your income for 5 years, if that was the case I’m sure you’d see the forum full of such issues0 -
Thank you, just seemed very extreme but I haven’t got anything like that, checked all my balances before I submit so all is correct and haven’t missed anything so sounds all okay. I’ll just let the next year tick away and that should be that..thanks for your help!
