Selling my flat - sellers pack needed?

So, I am in the process of selling my flat (leasehold)
The buyer's solicitors have asked a few questions based on my lease (that I didn't have access to), for example, apparently I am a share holder in the management company and they need the certificate (I was never informed of such or supplied with such).
My management company will only deal with solicitors, so my solicitors contacted them to get the required information. My solicitors have been informed that they (management company) don't respond to individual questions, and they (I) need to purchase the sellers pack at nearly £300.
I guess there is no way round this, the sneaky people??
Thanks

It's standard with management companies and their packs, price is about the same as other members have mentioned.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2

just take comfort in the fact that when you bought your property if you bought from a seller they too had to pay the fee in order to present you with the management pack as a buyer.....
Its a case of what goes around comes around....

In a similar position.
However I have a copy of the start pack and all the information from when I moved in 2 years ago -why is this apparently not valid documentation?
Also I have been through the companies terms of service and business information around purchasing and at no point does it say anything about such a fee regarding issuing a new start packs -if they had fees and charges aren't they meant to be transparent and upfront about such costs?
