Salzburg: All hotels to shut but advice to travel okay...

Hey guys,
We're due to go to Salzburg in Austria this time next week, however, I saw this last night: https://www.salzburgerland.com/en/corona-virus/
So, as of Monday all hotels will be closed, so, obviously we can't go - no where to stay!
At the moment the foreign office doesn't say anything to ward you off going to Austria: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/austria
We booked hotel via Expedia and flights via BA (direct). Hotel, for a bizarre change, was actually pay at destination (but they have my card details on file, obviously).
Just wondering where I stand really (Oh and I do have travel insurance)
Cheers!

It appears to depend on the insurer
have a look at the table in the main article - https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2020/02/coronavirus-travel-help-and-your-rights/

Thank you for the link. I guess I'm still struggling to confirm the details in the original post - that post makes me think every hotel in Salzburg will be shut, however, my hotel doesn't seem to know yet, and the FCO site has been updated to suggest it is hotels in ski resorts which will be closed, so bit confused really!

Surely if the hotel is forced to close, it cannot take payment for your (non) stay. And if it does while failing to provide the service your bank will action a chargeback on request.

Most airlines are now offering date changes on normally non-flexible fares, I believe.
    Evolution, not revolution
