Hi
I'm hoping 1 of you lovely people can advise me on a possible course of action .
This company sold us a new boiler & a 10 year service & maintenance plan. This was financed through a third party , arranged by them.
We have just tried to book our annual service but I constantly keep getting the engaged tone. After a bit of searching I found others were having the same problem trying to contact them.
On further investigation it appears they have gone into liquidation.
Am I right in thinking we've basically lost the remainder of the plan, tho we still have to keep paying for it !
Thanks for reading .

Was the maintenance plan insurance-backed or with that company?
Either way ... as you've paid by finance then the finance provider are jointly liable for the performance of the contract (under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act). Contact them, raise a S75 claim and advise them that they need to arrange for maintenance as per the terms of the contract for which they are jointly liable.1 -
