in Credit cards
Hi all. Ive got a vanquis card with about £3000 on it, i pay a weekly payment that is always above the minimum amount per month. Im thinking of trying to get a balance transfer to another card with a 0‰ transfer fee and a lower Apr. Can anyone please help me with a bit of advice. Thanks

Is there pros/cons, am i better staying with the 1 i have or if i balance transfer some of it all all of it will i be paying less?0

If you can get a card with a 0% APR balance transfer promotion, it will be clearly beneficial as your interest on the Vanquis card is very high.
Have you tried any eligibility checkers such as the those embedded within the MSE article linked below:

Thanks for the information, ive looked at a few now, they say a typical transfer of £1200, so would this mean i wouldn't be able to transfer the full amount from the vanquis card? Sorry kinda new to all this0

The £1,200 figure is just a representative example and is not an accurate reflection of the potential credit limit. You do not find out your credit limit until your application has actually been accepted.
