if you self isolate with suspected Coronavirus and are due to go abroad on holiday can you claim on your insurance to cover your holiday?

No. To claim you would need a health professional to certify you not fit to travel.0

My understanding is that 111 is being geared up to produce documents for insurers, but you have to have a reason to self isolate, it is not a 'get out of jail free card' allowing you to cancel a holiday you no longer want to go on0
