Hi folks
First of all I did read the newbie thread, but I'm still a bit confused and would appreciate some advise.
As per post title the event took place in Scotland and it's a company /lease car.
I've received a parking charge while parking at B&Q ( from Total Parking Solution).
The ticket states that 'driver was observed leaving site whilst the vehicle remained parked in the premises".
Which is true , the driver left to nearby shop but at the same time a car passenger visited B & Q.
I did followed the guide and complained to B&Q , unfortunately it wasn't successful.
The manager asked for a receipt which I did not had.
I'm just wondering what's the best next step?
According to the Newbie treat I should appeal to the TPS , using the template.
The template isn't really applicable to my situation as it requests for evidence and photos of the vehicle etc.
All those photos are visible when I log in into appeal process on TPS website.
Also online appeal website requires my name, surname and address. Is it safe to provide those - stating that those are the details of the Keeper?

How can you possibly know whether you have all the photographs?
Apart from that, as this is a lease car, you should be following the guidance further down the NEWBIES first post - after the heading:
COMPANY, LEASE OR HIRE CARS ANYWHERE IN THE UK

Why are you not just using the hire car template as hirer/lessee?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok thanks for reply guys.
In that case I will appeal using the template.
One last question - should I provide them with all my details - name ,address (stating that those are Keeper details) ?0 -

That's fine, but make sure it is the template below the heading I mentioned earlier...
COMPANY, LEASE OR HIRE CARS ANYWHERE IN THE UK
Not the blue template.0 -
One last question - should I provide them with all my details - name ,address (stating that those are Keeper details) ?How else would they know who they're dealing with? You need to get this hooked away from the lease company otherwise they will be receiving the parking charge and many of them stump up straight away, debit your credit card for the amount of charge and add on a hefty admin charge for their work in dealing with it.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Not the blue template.
I can't see any template under the mentioned heading.
There are few links to other peoples appeals , but all 3 of them try POPLA.
Earlier post mentioned not to try POPLA in Scotland as this will require to state if you are the driver.
Sorry to be a pain but could you possibly paste this template you were referring to?

Just send the appeal text found at the second link you find under that heading:

It really doesn't matter what you send to them. You are just trying to divert their attention away from the leasing company.0 -
There are three appeal template letter in the first post of the NEWBIES written by a poster called edna basher. One of the templates is for a fleet manager, so you want one of the other two that is closest to your situation.
You need to read and reread the NEWBIES until you find the right template, and you understand the process.
At the moment, PoPLA is not available for a keeper in Scotland, so you won't be using that.
You must get a NTH in your name as day to day keeper. You must tell the hire/lease company asap that you are dealing with this and they must not pay the scammers any charges and must not charge you or pass any charges on to you.
You (will) have transferred liability from the hire company to you so they are no longer liable and must do nothing. Warn them that if they do pay the charge and try to pass it to you, you will put the charge into dispute with your card provider as a fraudulent charge.
