Is this the longest wait for PPI claim?
Since early June 2019!
it’s a very old Lloyds Bank loan going back to 1988, but I have bank statements showing all payments, as well as the Loan Agreement and some loan statements.

Lloyds have upheld the claim but tell me that the reason for the delay is because it is a complicated anomaly.
I don’t understand the complication, given I have so much evidence.
Can Lloyds continue to drag this out? Can I claim extra compensation for the stress this has caused?
Any advice would be appreciated

They have upheld the complaint. So, that is not an issue. Once a complaint is upheld it goes to a payments team who check for bankruptcy, IVAs. early repayment (Lloyds did refunds on early repayment), cancellations and other things.
In 1988, this was a paper process. So, that could well be the hold up.

yes

how has it caused stress? Is that not being rather dramatic?
Anyway, you get extra compensation through the interest payment which is calculated up to the point of payment. So, the longer the better.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
