I think you are missing a huge amount of detail there. Were you evicted? Did you do a flit? What money do you owe him? How much, and why?

  • I gave a weeks notice to letting agent owing one month they said the landlord wants you out so I found somewhere else I didn't flit he has started to message me after posting on a bit and sell group near me giving my details saying money for accurate info yet the letting agent had my contact details

deactivate your facebook account...or better still unfriend the LL
I'm never sure its a good idea to have LL's and tenants FB friends anyway ,but either way you need to resolve your differences and move on amicably and without either of you contacting via social media.

You also need to redirect your mail to your current address and bring closure with whatever has happened.
Tell us more about what deposit was held and what the LL is trying to claim money format that point someone will be better placed to give you constructive advice going forward.
Has a dispute been raised in respect of the deposit and is that with the deposit service that it is held with...if that's the case you don't actually need to correspond with the LL the deposit service will act as arbitrator for you both.
However I  suspect as others have said...we are not being given the whole story so cant advise

and is he correct about the notice period?
Perhaps you could give the timeline so again someone can be helpful and make comment on whether you or he is correct.....
What type of contract did you have and what did your tenancy agreement say about notice requirements.
What date did you give notice and what date did you move out....
