Cancelled Holiday.. Can I get a travel insurance refund?

I booked a cruise last year and the holiday company (Tui) have cancelled the cruise and are in the process of refunding my money. A few weeks ago I also took out their insurance for the trip to cover me whilst away going through the same travel agent and adding it onto my booking. Can I claim the insurance money back seem as its them that have cancelled this and I never got the trip I took the policy out to cover?

You need to start by asking the travel agent.
They might be within their rights to say you’ve already had use of the insurance for the last few weeks for example if you’d broken a leg or someone had died you would have been able to claim so you’ve still had insurance for the period.
the fact that’s it’s the same company may work in your favour.1 -
They are looking into it as obviously this is an unusual case. Even if they refund half I will be happy.£2021 in 2021... £253.86/£20210
