Risk to my employment - insuring against loss of income

I don't know if this is the right place to post.
A complaint was raised against me and it going to a disciplinary panel. If it goes against me then my job could be at risk. However, my employer has made significant procedural errors in following its own policy and procedure and because of the nature of my business and the level I'm working at, I think if things go against me I would be in a position to negotiate for a compromise agreement and a non-disclosure agreement.
I would much rather stay at my job, I have just bought a new house and am a single parent with two children to support. However if the worst comes to the worst, I want to figure out how to protect us. Although I have mortgage cover for death, I don't think I have it for unemployment. (I'm just checking that out now).
So the questions I have are:
Would any cover I put in place cover me for leaving under a compromise agreement (i.e. no fault accepted, but not exactly voluntary)
If I purchase this now, would the fact that I am facing a disciplinary negate the cover?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I sincerely doubt that given your present circumstances any unemployment cover would be offeredIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

To obtain insurance you would need to disclose whether there was any indication of redundancy or other reason for dismissal of which you were already aware. If you did get insurance it would not cover a situation which was already in process.
