Elizabeth Arden 8 hour hand protectant cream works wonders for me. It has a rather strange smell but it keeps my hands very well protected even when I have washed them since.2

+1 for neutrogena norwegian0

Seconding this. It feels almost "medical" to me in how well it works, rather than cosmetic. It's not cheap but I tend to buy it when I can in duty-free (probably won't be an option for the foreseeable futuremimi1234 said:Elizabeth Arden 8 hour hand protectant cream works wonders for me. ) It's not greasy at all (I can't bear greasy handcreams!) 1 -
Eucerin 5% Urea hand cream. As someone who washes their hands a trillion times each day, this is the only one which works

For daily but still intense moisturising, I've not found anything better than this Garnier hand cream:

For extra moisturising if hands are starting to feel sore and overly dry, you can't beat Neutrogena. Yes as someone said it's a little greasy when you first put it in, but as long as you don't put too much on, it soaks in within a couple of minutes and is SO soothing.0 -
Yes. It smells like medicine but it lasts forever. One little 15ml tube lasted me about 2 months.SadieO said:

There's loads of people selling the travel sized tubes on Ebay quite cheaply. If the tube has a foil seal, it's most likely genuine. For a few quid, you can't go wrong. Or you could always buy the full priced versions in store when they have the "buy 2 items and get a free gift" promotion at Boots or Debenhams.
It works wonders on those awful little skin peels I get on my fingers.1 -
I like kamille herbacin cream it is easy to absorb.
La Roche Posey hand cream is very good.
