I have got a letter chasing for money that I dont owe. I have never had an account with Pennon Water nor do I have anything to do with the property/company to which the letter refers. In addition I do not I live /work in an area which the company supplies services to.I am just ignoring the letter as looking up on line this seems to be a scam or case of data being wrong. Do I report to Solicitor and CAB or any other governing body? The Company sending the letter is Zinc Credit Management on behalf of Pennon Water in Devon, I have sent a note to Pennon Water to ask about this. Any advise??0

These things are never scams, but an attempt to find the rapscallion who owes the money.
Just advise them it's not your debt. But check your files to ensure nothing appears.0 -

If so you may have gone through a fake/imposter site.
Somebody I know inadvertently ''signed'' up for this - they claim for the fee to remind you when your insurance and MOT are due etc - nice money whilst you can get away with it!0
