So it does! thank you. Its strange cos it disappeared when I edited that post just after I made it, and then wanted to delete it after we exchanged posts and soulsaver mentioned about it....but it wouldn't let me...and now it does. Strange! thanks.
P.S, might also want to ask 'Where's my cashback' to delete their post cos they quoted mine!

Can I suggest that multiple accounts are NOT being discussed on an open Internet forum. The reasons should be obvious.1

On or around 8th April I telephoned the dedicated phone number to say that I wish to keep my reward current account. Keep £5000 in my account and add £1500 per month into the account to receive a £5 reward. I haven't heard anything else regarding this as yet. Has anyone else who received the standard letter and has already telephoned the dedicated telephone line heard whether this instruction has been received? Will it be actioned and then a letter sent out or will I receive a message on line? I also wonder when my month will begin. Do people think it will be 1st June to 30th June counting as the first month?
Thanks0 -
Nobody seems to have received any acknowledgement.
I am working on the basis that the changes apply to me from June 1 as that's what my letter said. I will, however, not stop my DDs until July, just in case their website contains the correct information. As I am not keeping more than a fiver in my account, that is a no risk approach for me. It's slightly different if you have gone for the £5K option as you may lose a fiver, plus the interest your £5K might have earned elsewhere, if they don't start on June 1. If your letter says June 1, you can always complain if they don't pay as per their letter.1 -
Thanks for that. I will wait until mid May then if I haven't received any acknowledgement from Halifax I may send a message to their on line help asking whether they have actioned my request and does my month start on June 1st. My £5000 is at present in Marcus so is actually earning 1.2% as it will do in Halifax Current account but I use Halifax for all my main direct debits/standing orders and as my nominated account for several other banks so it would be a pain to have to change all the info at this time when I can just earn 1.2% for very little work on my part each month.0
