Ive shared my survey with loads of people including the internet.
i agree with OP though, its silly that multiple buyers could each pay for their own survey. What a way to collectively waste money. I think a house should have a verified independent survey available to all interested parties when it goes on sale, much like the EPC was supposed to although that particular thing is pretty useless.0 -
If i'm honest I just wish they done this near the beginning, I generally think the worst will happen with things but hopefully it will be okay.

Oh yeah i recall the HIP now youve said. It wasnt very useful though because it wasnt a proper condition survey.0

Before we'd had the written report (and paid), all the surveyor could tell us was that there were no structural issues to worry about, so at that point you've got as much information as the buyers. It seems that's just how surveyors roll.
