Easyjet prepaid eurocard

I loaded my card with enough funds to pay my hotel in Madeira and have spending mo ey. The hotel took payment on my arrival of ,€1125 which on the statement was held on the first day then taken on the second day BUT also took a further pending of the same amount . This has put my card into a deficit, leaving me unable to use my money. The hotel claims no responsibility as does easyjetcard.
I have been told the hold will go off in 21 days.
HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS..
It has caused me a lot of upset and I will be trying to get all my money off this card on my return to UK.
