The Homebuilding & Renovating Show has been following Government guidelines regarding the continuation of our event surrounding the outbreak of Coronavirus. However, as the news has been progressing we have listened to the concerns, from all parties, around the health and welfare of their staff.

As a company we are becoming increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors and staff, and as this is our first priority, we have taken the extremely difficult decision to postpone The National Homebuilding & Renovating Show at the NEC, until the Summer. We are now working through the ramifications of this unprecedented situation.

Please bear with us while we try to establish new dates. We will be in touch with all our visitors as soon as we have more information to share.

We have compiled a list of FAQs below to answer any concerns you may have.

Message from The Homebuilding & Renovating Show

'The Homebuilding & Renovating Team are extremely disappointed that we have had to take the decision to delay our National Homebuilding & Renovating Show. However, it became clear that the recent acceleration in Covid19 cases in the UK has led to heightened concerns for all participants and the show would be negatively impacted from all perspectives should we have proceeded. We understand how important the show is to everyone concerned, so we are pleased that we are able to postpone it to the Summer, when we are hopeful that the threat of Covid19 will have significantly rescinded. Please bear with us while we make all the necessary arrangements to facilitate this move and contact all participants'.

 FAQs

Q – The show has been postponed, will I be issued a new ticket?
A – Good news, your ticket can be transferred to the new show date. You don’t need to do anything. We will email you with a new e-ticket once the new date has been confirmed.

Q – Will the seminar programme and exhibitors be the same for the postponed show?
A – We will aim to keep the programme the same where possible, but will issue the programme nearer the time.

Kind Regards,

The Homebuilding & Renovating Show Team

Cue lots of guys sorting out their sports, golf and fishing gear now the renovation's off, perhaps for 6 months, maybe longer! There has to be an up side!

I can rearrange my weekend now.

I was due to be on the Ask An Expert stand all weekend and was wondering why I'd volunteered for both days.

It's fine when it's months in advance but when work is insanely busy, I really need the weekend time.

Very risky IMO. Great way to wear out your voice, end up with a sore throat and then have to self-isolate.
Me, I'm hunkered-down with 5months supply of beans, pasta, rice and 100 Lloyd Grossman sauces + a chain saw. No one's getting my bog rolls!

    Postponed again ....
It’s with a heavy heart that, due to the current pandemic, we have no choice but to postpone our upcoming Homebuilding & Renovating Show at the NEC, Birmingham to the new date of 25-28 March 2021. Your ticket will automatically be transferred to the 2021 date, and we will email you a new ticket nearer the time.
