Emergency Assist ltd
I am a bit miffed.
I have just taken out breakdown cover with Emergency Assist ltd and noticed that cover isn't for 12 months, it is for 11 months and 29 days. Cover does not start for 48 hours after the yearly membership commences!
Anyone else noticed that?

Prevents people joining after they breakdown fairly normal.

I can understand that, but I paid 3 weeks prior to the membership becoming active!0

Happens a lot with insurances, you pay for a year and they swindle you out of a few days at the start. They could just as easily post-date the start and give you the year that you pay for
When you renew with the same company, you get the full year next time if there is no gap.Life insurance is even worse, if you die in the first couple of years your estate might get your premiums back.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
