Hi not sure I’m on the right thread, so please send me packing of I’m in the wrong place.  My Tiguan was in a front driver side collision a fortnight or so ago. Up until the bump there was nothing wrong with the car. Immediately afterwards the reversing camera was not working and now it’s being fixed the garage have said the back passenger side parking assist is broken. There was no problem with either of these up until the bump, but the insurers say I need to prove the damage is related to the accident. Any ideas please. Or in particular, could someone driving into the front of my car damage the electrics in other areas of the car? Thank you in advance for any help/ advice

It's certainly not straightforward to see how a "bump" on the OSF corner could affect the NSR parking sensor (but not the others) or the reversing camera. I can certainly see why the insurers are sceptical.

I suspect your only way forward is to get a garage, ideally a VW dealer for credibility with the insurer, to do a full diagnosis on them and write a report explaining why they believe it is related. If they do.
