CAN I USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO GET MY MONEY BACK FROM A FRAUDULENT COMPANY

I gave a deposit to QPS Park & Leisure Homes Ltd to build a mobile home and the director Antonia Kennedy has gone off with my deposit and won't give it back. Can I ask her for my money back on her FB feeds when she asks for comments? Can I start a FB, Twitter campaign? I can not believe they are allowed to get away with it. Thank you

If you paid a limited company which is no longer trading and has no assets your money is gone.0

That's not always true.452 said:If you paid a limited company which is no longer trading and has no assets your money is gone.
If the company was set up purely with the intention of defrauding people then the director of that company can still be held liable for any debts.
It may well be a long slog with not too much chance of getting anything back but it's still a possibility.0 -
You can badger her on social media if you like, but I doubt it's going to get your money back. There are legal means of pursuing the principal behind a limited company if they've been trading unlawfully, given the amount involved you may wish to get paid-for legal advice.0

If you ask for your money back publicly on Facebook, she'll simply delete your comments and block you from further posts.BazzyM said:Can I ask her for my money back on her FB feeds when she asks for comments? Can I start a FB, Twitter campaign?
In addition, why do you think a social media "campaign" will be effective? From your other thread it's very obvious you have been the victim of a scam and unfortunately have fallen for everything they have told you without question.Did you really pay this deposit by Bank Transfer?

Can you can you explain what they’ve done that’s fraudulent?
Has the director stole your money from the business and left the company0 -
The details are all in the Op's other thread about this:zoob said:Can you can you explain what they’ve done that’s fraudulent?2 -
The name the OP posted does not exist, a company with a similar name does exist,
but do they have any association with the company named or people involved?
