DRO and CAB

Doesn’t sound too good, are they willing to refund that if you can find somewhere who could act quicker such as stepchange. You will need to go through a process to ensure it’s the right insolvency solution and there will be budgets and documentation to go through, but 3-6 months is on the long side0

Citizens advice told me 3 months, this was at new year, I went through Stepchange and it was all done within 2 weeks from initial query to DRO being granted0

Have you asked why there is such a long wait?
They can at any time request a refund of the fee paid, and the DRO Team can send it by cheque or BACS, but it sounds like someone just needs to get their finger out. I cannot imagine any CA office being happy with ready-to-go DRO files sitting there for 3-6 months.
It's not complex - they just need to get the credit checks done, the fee paid and the button pressed
