Whats my position

Reclaiming from a certain bank on CC charge (say £100)
Received cheque (say £100) and letter from sol stating
"in full settlement of the above claim"
Received another letter little bit less from bank itself stating say (£90)
"in full and final settlement of your complaint and our file is now closed.
