    I think what you're doing is admirable, Mica, and I wish you well with it. Now that you have said you are only part-time at the moment, your chances will be much enhanced when you get full time job---

    I was wondering if £30 a week for "spending money" would be a reasonable amount. I was thinking of opening another current account so I can put my monthly bill money in one account and my "spending money in another"

    Sounds OK, Mica. And the two accounts sounds good. The priority for you, as you know, is to get that full-time job, with the added wages, and I wish you all the best with that. Cheers.

    Although it's not the end of the year I just wanted to say that so far I have saved £700 :)
