Hi I received this txt the other day from barklays
We've found an issue with your debit card, as a precaution, we're sending you a new one. Your existing card will work until your new card arrives.
Will this new card affect my mobile banking app if so what do I have to do

Shouldn't impact on your mobile app at all0
-
OP - If you have a concern, open the Barclays app, tap Help (at the bottom right of the screen), scroll to the bottom of the help page and tap on the Direct Call icon.0

Or if your question can be answered without having to disclose personal information you can just message them on FacebookChino said:OP - If you have a concern, open the Barclays app, tap Help (at the bottom right of the screen), scroll to the bottom of the help page and tap on the Direct Call icon.0 -
Using social media will see Barclays, in this case contact the OP direct for details and they can then advise them. No personal info in public domain. Just Private messages or they may even call them once they know they are the customer.Life in the slow lane0

It won't affect your mobile banking app but it might affect if you have your debit card linked as a payment and if the number has changed
I am thinking for example of Oyster top up you may have to go to your Oyster card login and change the debit card number for top ups
another example might be if you have linked your debit card to PayPal Al1 -
