Hi,
I've returned the form the administrators sent to me for monies I believe I'm owed from the company I worked for that went into administration and I have received a letter back saying that only certain amounts I'm owed are preferential. Can someone confirm?

I am being advised by the administrstors that the following are preferential;
1) Owed wages (less paid by the Insolvency Service).
2) Owed holiday pay (less paid by the insolvency service).
The amount I've claimed against these 2 items is different to the amount on the letter I have received back. I have queried this with them, but the person I spoke to wasn't sure why - is this capped?

Amounts I've claimed that the administrators say are not preferential;
1) Statutory redundancy pay (less paid by the insolvency service)
2) Notice pay / payment in lieu of notice
3) Protective award pay
4) The last pay I received from the company before they went into administration had an amount I had deducted from my pay for pension, which wasn't paid to the provider. I have claimed this amount.

Can anyone confirm if the administrators are correct?

Thanks.
