Ryanair changing flights?

I had booked on FR2803, scheduled to fly on 04 August at 6:35am from Southend to Palma Mallorca. This was as advertised and confirmed by email after booking.  I've just noticed on Ryanair's booking page that this same flight is now showing as scheduled for departure at 6.05pm. Almost 12 hours later.

Can Ryanair just do this?  It wouldn't be the end of the world but will be inconvenient and we'll lose a day from our holiday.  I've just messaged them but from experience I know I may not get a fast or helpful reply.

Thanks for any tips or advice.

All the Tuesday flights in August are 18:05. Times seem to vary depending on the day of the week

Thanks.  Yes, but when I booked it was advertised at 6.35am.  This was even repeated in the email confirmation following my booking.  I specifically wanted an early morning flight.

The answer to your question is yes they can. And as long as they tell you more than 14 days in advance of the flight then no compensation is payable. As you have messaged them about it then they now know that you are aware of it.

You will probably get offered a refund as the change is greater than 3 hours

Exactly this.  Have you logged in under your booking on their website? It will likely be showing you the amendment and giving you the option to accept or cancel for a refund.

They have a LGW ALC flight same day leaving Gatwick at 10:20 am if that might timing wise be more suited.  If so you may need to call them for that transfer to be made.

there is always a risk of timetable changes when you book a flight for a future season.
Summer schedule starts end March (and winter schedule end October) whilst the airline may plan to operate at a certain time when they release the flights for sale, they may find that slot confirmation means they need to adjust their planned timetable.
