Could someone please give me some advice on when is the best time to get Easyjet customer service to pick up the phone. My  partner booked 2 seats for Alicante today and did't realise that the surname automatically filled in for me the 2nd passenger. It is £50 each way to change the name on booking and £30 to cancel whole flight which he wants to do, but there is no way of changing it online, he has spent all afternoon in a queue but nobody picks up. would appreciate any advice on this please.

there should be a way to do it online...they have 2 fees for cancellation within 24 hours, £33 if done online, £38 if done via call centre
"You can make this cancellation online or by calling our Customer Services team. If you booked through an Agent, you must ask them to do this for you."

Thanks caz but this is what was so frustrating, it would'nt let you change it online and to phone cs which seems impossible to do

Have you tried 'Live chat'?

Or 'talk to us on messenger'?

I guess all airlines will be very busy.

yes have tried live chat but just says all our operators are busy. been trying all morning again still no joy, and now 24hrs have lapsed so when we do eventually get through will it be a case of tough luck or do you thinkt they will take into consideration the high volume of people on lines

I'm not sure why you weren't able to cancel online when the website says you can.
Why were you trying to change the booking online?

when you go onto my account it will not let you  change
 anything or cancel the booking. We want to change my surname as it automatically put it in as his.

Go into your partner's account if he was the one that made the booking.
