It depends what you mean by permanent. The insurers need to know where she lives and where the car is normally kept, as that's what they base their risk calculation on.

Car_54 thanks for the reply. What I mean is her billing address is the family home but her address on the insurance policy is where the vehicle is kept.0

And that's the one they want to know - because that's the relevant one for the theft/damage risk the insurer is covering.

From what you say, youve done it correctly and there shouldn't be any issue.
However, the insurance company might query it in the event of a claim, particularly if the permanent residence is classed as lower risk. This would probably mean providing proof of residence such as a utility or council tax bill.0
