Lowell Solicitors CCJ advice due to Vanquis credit card (old debt)

Sorry if this is the wrong category I posted a while ago how I was having problems with Lowell Solicitors. I had offered them a payment plan which they repeatedly refused, their last contact with me was a letter stating to wait for the directions questionnaire from the courts which I didn't receive, it can't be a problem with the courts mailing system as they suggest though as I've had other correspondance from them with no problem. Whilst obliviously waiting for the directions questionnaire, a CCJ was registered against me for the same debt. Is there any way of getting this set aside?

Call the court where the judgement was made and tell them you have not received any notification of the proceedings.
  • Thanks Tildaplum I will do that. I will also send them an email too. The thing that has struck me is they repeatedly refused the offer I made but have accepted the same offer now they have their CCJ against me. Lowell Solicitors really are bullies aren't they?

Let us know how you get on - hopefully you can easily get the court to set the judgement aside and schedule a new hearing
