CCJ sent to wrong address- Help please!!

Hi, I've just found out today that I have a CCJ in my name after having a credit check run by a lettings agency that I am hoping to rent through. I got the reference number via an online credit check, contacted County Court Business Centre in Northampton who directed me to a parking charge company- Vehicle Control Services. Apparently I overstayed a parking period and was caught by an ANPR camera in September 2018. I have never had a parking ticket from anyone previously and as ANPR there was no notice on my car. I would have paid or disputed this at the time had I known. I moved house in June 2018 and updated my driving licence August 2018 and my Log book, which came through delayed on 1/11/18- apparently my address was given to them by DVLA, but was my previous address. As all information relating to the charge was sent to my previous address I had no idea until now.
The CCJ was made 03/19 for £185, I contacted the company, Vehicle Control Services and paid the outstanding amount so i could demonstrate to letting agent this had been paid off and continue with tenancy checks. I haven't been able to speak to a human so have emailed them asking for a copy of all correspondence and receipt of payment. What are my chances of having CCJ set aside with N244 application, as it costs £255? I can clearly demonstrate I was not at my previous address at this time, it seems pathetic to have negative credit now for another 5 years over a parking charge I had absolutely no knowledge of!

Hi eloisecharity and welcome to the forum

For the best advice, guidance and support, you need to post your thread on the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking board. Have a read of their top stickie thread too.

Thanks- My concern is mainly relating to my credit rating and CCJ however, not so much disputing the fine at this stage.0

Sorry, it was the comments above that made me think you might be disputing the original parking ticket.eloisecharity said:I have never had a parking ticket from anyone previously and as ANPR there was no notice on my car. I would have paid or disputed this at the time had I known....
